Eastern Connecticut First Quarter Real Estate Market Statistics

Single family sales during the first quarter rose 3.7%, compared to the first quarter of 2013, despite the fact that the winter weather from November through January was not conducive to looking at homes. Values were mixed, with the average sale price rising 2.35% and median sale prices falling 5.81%. Because interest rates are expected to rise through 2014, now is a great time to buy a home!
